Boston Dynamics, known for its video animated robots, would be for sale. Its robots are certainly innovative enough, but Alphabet aspires to more.
The company Boston Dyanmics was taken over in late 2013 by Google (now part of the Alphabet group) through a series of takeovers in the field of robotics. But despite the fact that it happens repeatedly impressive videos devoted to its robots, it does not seem possible to market a commercial product shortly. That’s why the company seeking a buyer, according to the agency Bloomberg.
This news in itself is not so surprising, given that Boston Dynamics is a spin (spin-off) of MIT, mainly specializes in research on robots. Initially, the company also completed projects for the US military, but it stopped there, when it was bought by Alphabet.
